Well, I have not tried to see every point and compact cameras in the world, whether it RAW support. So, if you know a point and shoot camera that supports RAW format, please enter it here.

Now each RAW support for that is what the sensor captured natively. But as I said, just a few, like the PowerShot G series, writing the RAW file from the card without any form of simple piracy.
It is a firmware hack for the Canon Powershot http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page called CHDK, which adds lots of features for a camera. RAW is one of them. S 'is a very smart thing, because not really explain the firmware to overwrite, so that the warranty is void.
As mentioned earlier, the average user of P & S on RAW and post-treatment more complicated, it is not an option in most cameras. BTW: This has nothing to do with costs. RAW data, just before they are processed by the chip image (as in Canon's DIGIC processor) and converted to JPEG. It is actually cheaper if you just typed camera raw files.

Point & Shoot Users are mostly amateurs who are difficult to process a RAW file successfully. One might think that the camera produces an image could suffer from lower quality and reputation of this model. The information is more than one camera JPEG processing (JPEG compression results in a smaller scale) so would be implementing burst mode, shooting continuously at high speed requires a better vision and a pipeline of data to a higher cost of camera. Point-and-shoot segment is very price sensitive and most users do not pay a premium for a feature that could use it before! Therefore, no RAW option on most P & S cameras.

They prefer to keep the price
or add features that most people can in this price range.
since users usually do not know what to do with RAW photos.
