Part of my left eye is blind, is this a symptom of becoming blind? - blind parts

There are a lot of blurry in my left eye. It's hard to explain, but I see nothing about it, it's a small part of my left eye is blind, I see nothing in this part of my eye, the text is too difficult to read, and seems to be the first letter of each word by generally Being where I look.
