I do not have the title, chapter, and the version of the Bible, where you will find the genealogy of Mary, Mother of Jesus' birth - not * in * the Bible. And all those 3 points to Luke, 23 to 38 or Mate. 1, 1 to 17, which is misleading because it is not clear, * * (* these two completely contradictory genealogies of Joseph) is the genealogy of Mary.

Matthew 1:16 says: "And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, who is born Jesus who is called Christ." (I'm) on the RSV translation.

Yes * not * say: "Jacob and the father of Mary, of whom was born Jesus ..."

Luke 3:23 says: "When Jesus began his ministry, was (more than thirty years as son as it should) by Joseph, the son of Heli ..."

Yes * non *- saying "the son of Mary, the daughter of Eli ..."

If the Bible really means * * * * Mary, Joseph, when he said - then the effect could be when he says Leah, Rachel, Peter might mean when he says that Judas Iscariot could mean JehOvah when he said, Satan! Heaven! - Andrew could say even if it is, Salome!

The reason that one of these genealogies, by Mary ask, is really obvious - as these inconsistent (genealogies of Joseph, the only "father" of the sperm - and his stepfather, she never counted as a family tree really delivers in the Jewish tradition) some of the most blatant (and quite obvious), the number of contradictions in the Bible!

In the days that the majority followed the line of his father. So if the mother of Jesus, Mary mentioned that only their marriage speak with Joesph, or with Jesus.
